We left the marina at 9:30 am. We had a late start. We had to fill up with gas and water. We were on our way and went through the causton bluff bascule bridge.

It was pleasant today. We averaged around 6-9 knots. There were a lot of boats with their sails out today.

We went through the lady island swing bridge in Beaufort. We had to wait over an hour for the bridge to open.

We got to our anchorage at 7:30 pm. We traveled 53 miles today. Not bad for getting a late start. Tom and I are exhausted. We had chicken salad sandwiches for dinner. We are hoping to get a little past Charleston tomorrow.
