Vero Beach to Titusville

Bob and Tom had a wonderful day today. They woke up bright and early to pull the dingy onto the boat. There was so much water in the dingy they had to use the winch! They topped the boat off with water, put the boat in gear and headed north.

They had the luck of seeing two manatees, which I’m extremely jealous about! It was a very exciting day. They saw a rocket blast off. There was a dolphin following the boat and tried hard to get pictures! The sails were up the majority of the day and the boat averaged around 8.22 knots.

They had a scare when a coast guard alarm went off on the radio. Both of them thought it was the engine alarm and were about to shut everything off. They had a good laugh when they realized.

Bob was at the helm for a little bit. They were listening to music and Tom was tapping his foot. Bob was worried the engine was shaking because he kept noticing a vibration. He thought he was going crazy. Tom thought that was hilarious.

They made it through the bridge in Titusville and anchored near the mooring field. They are enjoying their drinks and planning the day tomorrow.

  1. Sounds like a pretty good start. Do they plan on going outside?
