St Augustine to New Smyrna Beach

Tom picked me up from the Orlando airport last night. We got into the marina around 9 pm. I was exhausted.

When we woke up in the morning Tom’s Garmin gps decided to stop working. We tried fixing it for about an hour and nothing worked. Tom was really mad because it’s pretty new. We now have to rely on my phone 100%. I’m so grateful for the Argo app. We would be lost with out it.

We pulled out of the marina. The steering is working really well. I’m relieved about that. We went through three bascule bridges today. We didn’t have to hold for any of them which was really nice.

It was cloudy and cold today. It started getting a little nicer when we got to Daytona Beach.

We passed under some really pretty bridges in Daytona beach.

We saw a gorgeous lighthouse at Ponce De Leon inlet. I love lighthouses and think they are so beautiful.

We dropped the hook at the Rockhouse Anchorage just outside of New Smyrna Beach. We traveled 62 miles and are very proud of it. Besides Tom’s gps breaking it’s been a really good day. The anchorage is good and we have a great view of the lighthouse.

There was a lovely pink sunset this evening. I’m cooking clam linguini for dinner. We are waking up at sunlight tomorrow and are moving along
