Made it home safely

Rich got in last night at 11pm. He was exhausted and we went to bed. Nobu and Juneau both slept next to me on my berth. We woke up around 8 and hit the road.

When we got to the gas station the car started making crazy motorcycle sounds. We all thought it was going to break down. We still aren’t 100% sure what’s wrong with it. Tom decided we were going to keep going. It was kind of funny when we were pulling into the gas station or a drive thru because the car was so loud.

None of us expected the old girl to make it all the way back to Kilmarnock. She made it. We drove slowly. We were biting our nails the whole time. It is a miracle the car didn’t break down. We all said a prayer and thanked the lord for helping us get home safely.

Rousseau and Paisley had a blast at Bob and Dawn’s house. We are so grateful they helped us out. We are so happy to be home.

Were you in the infamous Jag? Would not have been fair for a breakdown on the highway. Having owned a British automobile, must say, they build beautiful vehicles but not ones which are very reliable so happy she made it home, if indeed you were traveling in that automobile. Hope Captain Tom can get her fixed up for his return to St. Aug. Relax, eat crazy-good food and thank the Lord for returning you home safely.

Hahaha it was the Mercury. We are all still in shock that it actually made it with out completely breaking down. Absolutely! I think he will have fun down there.
