Hopefully heading out to North Carolina tomorrow

Rich drove down from Kilmarnock today to say hello. He brought Nobu and Juneau. Nobu was so happy to see me. He sat on my lap the whole time and occasionally growled at Juneau and Paisley when they walked up to me for pets. He missed his mamma. He kept me company while I read through the Waterway guides to plan ahead for our trip tomorrow.

Rich took me to lunch and we went for a drive with the dogs. Tom got the pump back today and almost has it installed. He is planning on finishing it tomorrow at 6 am! He worked hard all day getting it ready. If everything works out we will be on our way to North Carolina early in the morning. I’m kind of nervous to pass the Great Lock Bridge. I’ve never gone through a lock bridge so have no idea what to expect. I’ve been reading about it in my books and it doesn’t seem too bad.

Rich went back to Kilmarnock with Nobu and Juneau. Tom and I are relaxing in the Galley. We had KFC for dinner, I love myself some fried chicken. Overall a really good day. It was so good to see my babies and hubby.

Glad you had another quick visit with Rich and the puppies. The lock is really neat and will be fine. You’ll enjoy it and it will add to your list of new experiences. Don’t sweat it!
