We pulled the anchor up at 6:15 am. We went through Hampton roads and out into the Chesapeake bay. We saw a ton of destroyers and air craft carriers.

We averaged 7-9 knots today and got into Kilmarnock around 3:30. Rich was sitting on the dock with all the dogs. My husky, Juneau, jumped 7 feet from the dock onto the boat. All four dogs got on the boat once it was docked. They were all so excited to see us.
Tom and I are happy to be home. We are relaxing and making Rich do everything for us. Haha. It was a fun trip. I had a good time and we got the boat home! Rich and I plan on helping Tom fully restore the Voyager II to her full potential and beauty. We’ve made a list and we are going to start checking it off. It’s so good to be home with my hubby and sweet doggies.

after the horrible start back, was wondering if this would happen, congrats. norfolk is the largest naval base in the world. when i would travel over the hampton roads bridge tunnel would gaze over to normally see 3 to 4 carriers sitting there. a few weeks past 9-11 looked over and they were all gone, gave me this really empty, scary, feeling. you guys rest up before you take another cruise!!!!
