We woke up today at 6:15. We carried on further north with the parade of sailboats. It’s so much fun going the same distance and following each other.
It was very nice today. The breeze was perfect and the trees were so beautiful and green. I remember really enjoying going through this area last time. There were tons of people on wave runners and people wakeboarding. The boat ramp was packed with boats coming in.

We got into Osprey Marina at 3:30. Tom topped the tank off with gas and we got to our slip. I love this marina so much. They gave us a goody bag and are so nice here. I scrubbed the deck it was so muddy from the storm he and Bob were in and the anchor. I made Tom put the ripped up Genoa sail in his cabin, it looks trashy on the deck. I also made him adjust the boom on the aft mast. It was taken down to have the boat pulled out of water and I didn’t like the way it looked. The boat looks so much better now that’s she’s spiffed up a little.
We got showers and are relaxing now. Trying to figure out where to anchor tomorrow. There’s really no good anchorages 50-60 miles from this area. It’s making me nervous because we have to deal with the folly inlet and cape fear, both are difficult to deal with thanks to shoaling.
The couple on the sailboat behind us is figuring out where they are going tomorrow too. They are going to let me know. We might have to stay at a marina again, and hopefully they aren’t all booked. We are hoping for the best.
