We slept in late today with my little buddy, Nobu. He is the sweetest Shiba. He has slept next to me every night since he was 8 weeks old. I can tell the dogs have missed me even though it was only a couple of days since they last saw me.

Tom and I had a nice dinner last night at a Japanese steak house. We ordered a little bit of everything and had a feast. My favorite thing was the gyoza and Tom loved the sushi that we ordered.

We still don’t have an exact estimate on when the pressure pump for the engine will be repaired. The Mechanic ordered the part and hopefully it will arrive on Monday. If we are lucky, we should be able to continue sailing again on Tuesday. I can’t wait to go to Coinjock, North Carolina. Tom says the Prime Rib at the marina is delicious.

Rich decided to stay an extra day in Chesapeake at the hotel. We’ve been relaxing with the dogs. It’s been fun hanging out with them. Rich ordered take out from a Mexican restaurant and it was yummy. I had a steak salad bowl and Rich had a steak Quesadilla. All three dogs got a little piece of steak as well. (I’m the worst at feeding my dogs table scraps and they are all beggars)

Rich will head back home to Kilmarnock tomorrow with the dogs. Tom and I are going to tidy up the boat and have a fun Halloween. I don’t have a costume or anything so I think I’ll just wear my sweater with an anchor on it and be a sailor haha.
